I once had a student who told me at the end of the class, she was having a 'splitting headache'. All I could tell her to do was press fingertips to the temples to relieve the tension, and later place palms over the eyes to deepen the relaxation. Your detailed answer offers realistic and easy-to-apply tips to help students with headache. Thanks, Manoj.

knowledge brings light! we often assume things to be what we have heard commonly and i always thought myself as a victim of migraine! after a dance session i sometimes have bad head aches and always thought of it as a migraine attack....now i know it is tension head ache....as our neck shoulder area is always working to keep elbows up shoulder high, and that would be initiating the compression! now i can do the counter stretches when we get breaks in between! thank you!
